Dede Cadieux
FOUNDER
Dede and her husband, Brian, both grew up outside of Detroit, Michigan. Exposure to people in need gave them both an understanding of the importance of community service so when the opportunity for helping folks in financial crisis in the York County area of Southern Maine became clear, they created the York County Family Fund in 2006. Dede has spent her time since graduating from the University of New Hampshire in ‘85 raising two children, running a jewelry business and volunteering for various organizations such as the Pan Mass Challenge, Common Cathedral in Boston and the York Community Service Association. Her passion for helping others in need has evolved into a drive to giving people in immediate financial crisis the help they need to stay stable and in a place where they can focus on longer term solutions.
Rev. Linda Hirst
BOARD MEMBER
Rev. Linda Hirst has served churches in York County for 20 years and is presently the Pastor of First Parish Federated Church in South Berwick, ME. She works closely with agencies and organizations providing care for residents in York County and is thrilled to be on the board of the York Family Fund!
Dana Foster
Board Member
Dana Foster has served on the boards of The Children’s Museum in Portsmouth NH , The York Library in York, ME and Spring Lake Ranch, in Cuttingsville, VT. She keeps busy with her four young grandchildren and loves living so close to them!
